| Mathematical
Technology |
| Highly skilled in algorithm design, Saltire has developed
both software and hardware solutions for industrial and educational
purposes. Our experienced team has a wide-range of mathematical
expertise that includes interactive geometry, symbolic mathematics,
mechanism design, numerical analysis and optimization. Saltire
educational solutions enable learning through exploration. From
algebra and geometry through calculus, mathematical technology
developed by Saltire has enabled students to work through complex
problems and gain new insights into mathematics. Visit the Geometry
Gallery to see a collection of Java applets. These interactive
components show interesting geometry configurations. |

Software Engineering |
| Building on our extensive experience in mathematical technology,
Saltire has developed a variety of software applications, some
in response to customer requests and some entirely of our own
design. Customer-driven projects have focused primarily on the
development of embedded software used in graphing calculators,
such as those produced by Casio. Examples of software products
developed independently by Saltire include FloorRight
and Analytix. |
|
Product Development |
| Saltire develops both software and non-software products.
For example, the ClassPad
300 has been a collaborative project with Casio where Saltire
developed software components embedded within the device. Non-software
scientific products designed and produced independently include
both scientific
probes and learning
guides for use in scientific laboratory classrooms. |
