Sample 1—Graph Xpander

The Graph Xpander environment lets you explore relations in multiple representations. Window settings can be entered directly on the graph screen. And you can translate and dilate relations dynamically with the stylus, observing real-time updates in the graphic, symbolic, and table views as the transformation occurs. Shown here are three discrete snapshots taken during a vertical sketch of a sine curve. Imagine a smooth transition from the first screen to the last, and you'll have an idea of what happens on the Graph Xpander screen during the dilation.
